A three-time founder and Forbes 30 Under 30 alum, Richard built Founders Capital from a WhatsApp group into Europe’s leading community-powered investment platform. Prior to FC, he exited multiple businesses in marketing, consumer, and tech; including Boxtails, alan. agency, and Sectorlight. Richard leads platform strategy, deal structuring, and late-stage deployment.

David is a qualified accountant and seasoned finance leader, having worked across private equity, startups, and corporate advisory. He oversees fund operations, regulatory compliance, investor reporting, and SPV structuring across UK and US jurisdictions.

Previously VP at Silicon Valley Bank, Joe brings deep venture ecosystem experience and now oversees all investor onboarding and capital deployment operations for FC. He is the primary point of contact for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional partners.

Sam Hargrove is Deals Manager at Founders Capital, overseeing pipeline, due diligence, and portfolio operations. Progressing from Analyst Intern to Investment Analyst, he supports execution across early and late-stage opportunities. Sam holds an MSc in Finance & Investment and a BSc in Management from the University of Nottingham, with prior experience in corporate development and M&A.

Sam Scott is Growth Manager at Founders Capital, leading member engagement and investor activation. A First-Class Business Management graduate from the University of Exeter, he also studied at Stanford University. Before joining Founders Capital, he founded Depolarised, a media company improving commercial awareness among young professionals.

Dan Honeywell is a Venture Partner at Founders Capital and founder of Zedsen, where he built a world-class team, secured 48 patents, and achieved 50x growth. Previously, he founded Honeywell & Partners, scaling it into a global consultancy and SaaS business. Dan has advised companies from start-up to Fortune 250, passionate about helping teams solve important problems.

A serial entrepreneur and former advisor to the UK Government, Gemma is spearheading our effort to build the most powerful female investor network in Europe. She also co-hosts the Deal by Deal podcast with Richard.

Founder of BrewDog, James brings deep experience in brand building and scale. He co-leads JetPack, FCs siste consumer brand micro fund, and provides advisory support to both founders and investors within the FC ecosystem.

A neuroscientist-turned-founder, Jeremy has exited multiple startups and now leads our early-stage discovery efforts within the Y Combinator ecosystem. He also co-founded the “Founders HQ” workspace initiative with Richard.
